January 2017, I was approached by the Girl Scouts of USA for a collaboration for Women’s History Month. Considered everything that I’ve got on my project list, it was difficult to say yes but considering the organization and the nature of the project, I couldn’t say No. This project was a must do.
So I wrapped up the Golden Globes red carpet project with Access Hollywood. Then we had to proceed with the Grammy Awards red carpet. A week after that I managed to make this epic project with The Girl Scouts happen right before my team and I had to leave for L.A. to do the Toddlewood Oscars.
As a creative person and a woman entrepreneur, I felt it my duty to make this project happen and inform young girls everywhere of these trailblazers. While these are only 11 images, there are a huge number of female role models who have opened or kicked down doors for us. Having said that I hope to continue this collaboration every March for Women’s History Month.
“My hope is to not only enlighten young girls about who blazed the trails, but also to encourage girls of all shapes, sizes and ethnic backgrounds to continue the legacy and perhaps make their own history”
